Hotel Vulcano is located in Playa de las Américas, the most important
tourist venue in Southern Tenerife, close to the shopping and
entertainment centres. This modern building is situated only 300 m
from the beach, in a pleasant and peaceful area, which makes it the
ideal choice for a happy holiday. The impressive entrance hall of the
Vulcano Hotel is in
marble, contains an indoor garden with a rich profusion of plants and
a fountain with a waterfall.
Accommodation
We have 371 rooms of which 42 have a double bed. All the rooms are
spacious and comfortable and have a balcony where you can relax and
enjoy the view. All rooms with pool view (for which we charge a
supplement), also offer you the following extras: bathrobes, pool
towels (at your service), free safe including insurance fee and a gift
in your room to welcome you on arrival day. All rooms have complete
bathroom, telephone, sat TV, mini-bar, safe deposit box for hire in
standard rooms and included in price for superior or pool view rooms.
Swimming Pools
Two large outdoor swimming pools in the garden complete the list of
facilities and services, both pools have a shallow section for
children and one is heated in the winter season. After a refreshing
swim you can relax and sunbathe while enjoying a drink in the shade of
the La Palapa pool bar, absorbing the view of flowers and plants,
which makes it such a pleasant and relaxing place to be.
Food and Beverages
The Pool Bar La Palapa in the garden presents a varied choice of
snacks and lunch à la carte as an alternative to lunch in the
Restaurant. Our luminous main Restaurant (Buffet service) offers
delicious local and international cuisine and vegetarian dishes as
well as grilled specialities from our Show Cooking Grill. There are
also two pleasant interior Bars, one of which has a terrace with a
pretty view over the garden and pools.
Entertainment
Guests of all ages have lots of fun joining in the games, quizzes,
competitions and different sports organised by our entertainment team.
You can also play squash, mini-golf, pétanque (French bowls), table
tennis, book a tennis court at our sister hotel, Hotel Bitácora
(across the street), or play golf at the 18-hole Golf Club Las
Americas close by (1 km). Squash and tennis are paid for locally. The
evening entertainment includes shows by professional artists and
dancing to disco and live music.
