Located on the Promenade in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, overlooking
the sea and just opposite the famous Lago Martianez swimming pool
complex, the Valle Mar Hotel, completely refurbished in 2002, is the
perfect place to enjoy all the delights offered by the wonderful town
of Puerto de la Cruz and the island of Tenerife in general.
Dining
The Valle Mar Hotel has a number of excellent restaurants that offer
high-quality international and local cuisine. Typical Canary Island
dishes are characterised by their tasty, spicy sauces, exotic salads,
home-grown potatoes and a wealth of local fish, including sea bream,
grouper and comber. The Hotel has four restaurants:- The Oasis
Restaurant, The Kontiki Snack Bar, The Café de París, The Jardín Café.
Another restaurant is due to open in the near future, offering
high-quality fast food: the Flos Fast Food, the Fashion Café of Puerto
de la Cruz.
Accommodation
The Valle Mar Hotel has a total of 171 outward-facing rooms, of which
a significant percentage are deluxe with stunning views over the
Atlantic Ocean and a range of special, exclusive services. All rooms
are equipped with a television, built-in stereo system, air
conditioning, direct telephone, mini-bar and safe. The hotel also has a
number of rooms that are specially designed for disabled people or
those with mobility problems. These rooms have specially-adapted
bathrooms, extra-wide doorways, parquet floors and anatomic beds,
among other features. And of course, all the hotels communal areas,
such as restaurants, lifts, reception area, etc. have been designed
according to the strictest accessibility criteria.

The Valle Mar Hotel has a number of different leisure areas, including
a swimming pool on the roof of the building with wonderful views over
the ocean, and a shopping centre with some of the best stores in the
city. It also organises live music and entertainment every evening, to
help make your stay a truly unforgettable experience. Furthermore,
Puerto de la Cruz itself also offers an endless variety of leisure
