The brand-new Kalimera Mare Hotel complex (built in 2001-2002) is set in a beautiful part of the island, only a few meters from the seashore, 4 km from Kardamena village and 35 km from Kos town. In total the hotel consists of 61 rooms distributed between the main building - Diagoras and 5 smaller buildings - Aretusa, Ikaros, Aspasia, Ismini and Pergola.

Accommodation

All the buildings of the Kalimera Mare Hotel have ground and first floor. There are two main types of rooms which are: 38 twin rooms with either an extra bed or a sofa that can be converted into a normal sized bed and 23 suites (two rooms family unit), which have a bedroom and a lounge area with two sofas that can be converted into normal sized beds. All the rooms are provided with: TV, a connection line to the internet, safe, fridge, air-conditioning (both cool and hot air), telephone, music channel, hair dryer, most with a bath and some with shower. Most of the rooms have sea view and some have view to the garden. Please note there is a refundable deposit of around €50 for the air-conditioning and TV remote controls.

Sports & Leisure (at Akti Kalimera Club)

Guests can enjoy doing a variety of sports that are organized in the Akti Kalimera Club hotel (which belongs to the hotel group) such as water sports, beach volley, archery, diving school and other sports that the animators’ team organizes. The children's pool oases, the mini club in the garden, the adventure playground and the children's entertainment programs are some of the facilities to ensure to the young guests and their families, a pleasant holiday. There is also a swimming pool for adults, slide swimming pool for children, organized beach where the umbrellas and the sun beds are free for the hotel guests, fitness centre - Achilleas.

Amongst the Kalimera Mare Hotel facilities and services is 24 hrs operated reception area, exchange service, credit cards (are accepted), mini market - Agora and Amphitheatre. There is also a gym that is available for all guests at a charge of 5 euro per visit.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme includes breakfast (07.30-10.30), lunch (12.30-14.30) & dinner (18.30-21.00), all served buffet style in the main restaurant. During meals water (in carafe), refreshments/soft drinks, local draught beer and house wine (white, rose, red) are offered. From 10.00-18.00 snacks such as toast, sandwiches, pop corn, cookies and ice cream in cons (from 11.00) are served at the pool bar. The main bar offers drinks from 18.00-02.00 (last order 01.00). At the pool bar & main bar guests can have water by glass, refreshments-soft drinks (cola, etc), coffee, tea, orange juice, local draught beer, house wine (white, rose, red), ouzo, brandy (local), as well as international brands as vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, tequila, Irish cream, Campari, Malibu, Amaretto. For clients staying for 1 week, 4 lunches & 4 dinners at the main restaurant plus 3 lunches & 3 dinners at Pergola are offered. Mini bar (with water, cola, orangeade & soda) is also included in the AI programme. Items will be replaced 3/weekly & 6/fortnightly. Tea & coffee making facilities available in the rooms – refilling 3/weekly.

All Inclusive Sport & Entertainment

AI sports included in the programme are: tennis on 5 courts plus equipment at Akti, (deposit of 50€ - upon reservation – during the night time there is an extra supplement), beach volley, boggier, aqua-aerobics, aerobics, gym, water sport such as windsurfing (only for experienced surfers), canoe – pedalo. One main swimming pool (fresh water) with a large area for sun beds, one children’s pool and one extra swimming pool (fresh water) next to a special children's room and playground; a playground in a separate area. There are sun beds & umbrellas by the pool & at the beach, one towel per guest/day with a deposit of 10€. Music installation to entertain customers in all areas, such as main bar, snack bar, theatre, etc., are also included. Theme nights (Greek night with live music, Italian night with DJ and Seafood/Fish night). Most of the activities are organized by the animation team at Akti.
