The Esmeralda Playa Hotel is a friendly, well situated hotel, just 200
metres from the beach, in a quiet area, Torviscas, a small town in
Adeje. The hotel is situated 180 m from Fanabe beach (volcanic), 500 m
from Torviscas beach, 150 m from the shopping centre and 400 m from
Puerto Colon harbour. The Esmeralda Playa provides a relaxed, yet
lively atmosphere.
Accommodation
The Esmeralda Playa Hotel's 303 comfortable guest rooms, including
doubles, singles, and suites are air conditioned during the summer
season. Rooms are spread over 9 floors. Rooms are equipped with
bathroom (bath, shower, toilette), hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone,
air-conditioning in summer, safe and fridge for rent at additional
charge, balcony with sea views. There are rooms for handicapped
persons and rooms with connecting doors. Towels are changed every day
and sheets 3 times a week.
Food & Beverage
Restaurant with non smoking area offers a big variety of international
and local, cold and warm dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are
served in buffet form. Highchairs for babies. Drinks and snacks during
the day at the pool bar, hot and warm drinks at the Lounge bar and
Barbeque in the garden area during the summers. Men are asked to wear
long trousers during the dinner in the restaurant.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch
(13:00-15:00) and dinner (18:30-21:30), all buffet style, served in
the main restaurant (drinks included as well). Afternoon coffee, cakes
and ice cream are available from 16:00 to 18:00 at the main bar and at
the pool bar. A variety of locally produced alcoholic and non
alcoholic drinks including local beer and wine, soft drinks and water
is served from 11:00 to 23:00 at both bars, pool bar & main bar.

Sports & Leisure
The Esmeralda Playa Hotel offers 2 sweat water pools for adults (one
of them heated in winter season), 1 children’s pool, and large sun
terraces with free sun beds, mattress and parasols, garden, pool bar
and barbeque in summer. There are 2 tennis courts (one of them as well
with hand or football possibilities), a paddle court adaptable for
volleyball, squash, gym, games room, table tennis, extra charge for
sauna & Jacuzzi, billiard, all type of rackets for rent, massages and
physiotherapy with previous reservation. Daily international
entertainment with sports and games during the day time and
professional shows and live music in the evenings. Mini-club for kids
from 4 to 12 during all summer season and the Christmas and Easter
holidays. New Spa Wellness Centre is due to open approximately
December 2005.
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Sports facilities at the hotel include fitness room, all sport courts
(equipment for hire), water sports and a variety of entertainment
programmes & competitions organized throughout the day such as
aerobics, professional shows, games and live orchestra.
