The Colon Guanahani Hotel is named after the
island of Guanahan (later re-named San Salvador), where Christopher
Columbus first landed in October 1492. The charming Colon Guanahani Hotel is set in lush, subtropical gardens, just 150m from
the sandy Beach of Fanabe and half a mile from Puerto Colon Marina.
Built in an attractive neo-classical style with a maximum of three
floors, the Colon Guanahani Hotel offers comfortable, spacious
accommodation with a full range of amenities and decorated with style
and elegance. This charming hotel is a guarantee for a peaceful and
relaxing holiday, personal and attentive service, exquisite cuisine,

Accommodation
Colon Guanahani Hotel has 145 twin rooms and all have bath/shower with hairdryer,
telephone, satellite TV, mini-bar, safe, air conditioning (in summer)
and balcony or terrace. 5 elegantly decorated suites with separate
lounge, bathroom with bath/shower, bidet, hairdryer, bathrobes and
slippers and a spacious terrace with sun beds and umbrellas. Room
service is also available from 08.00-22.00.
Sports & Leisure
The Colon Guanahani Hotel boasts leisure facilities, including
two seawater swimming pools, fitness centre, squash court, beauty
parlour with massage, sauna and Jacuzzi. A tennis court is available
at the sister hotel Jardines de Nivaria Hotel (50m).

The main restaurant serves half board guests in
buffet style with show cooking. Alternatively the main course is
served at the table if the guest wishes. The pool restaurant and bar
