The Doreta Beach Hotel is situated on the west
coast of Rhodes, dominating the beach front area of Tholos, one of the
smallest resorts on the island. A predominantly family hotel, with
great atmosphere, the Doreta Beach is a fun place for children and has
spacious lawns leading down to the tree lined beach.
Facilities at Doreta Beach
Reception, main bar, spacious & modern lounge,
self service taverna, pool bar, satellite TV room, games room, main
restaurant capacity of 1000 clients, children’s playroom fully
equipped with toys, children’s playground, swimming pool and separate
children’s pool, tennis courts, basketball court, volley ball, mini
golf, mountain bikes, sea sports such as canoes and pedals. Table
tennis, billiards. Daily entertainment program from 09:00 until 23:00,
by hotels animation team offering day and evening entertainment for
adults and children. Theme evenings, Greek night, music & movie shows,
etc. Mini market, jewellery shop, hairdresser, rent a car, safety
boxes (upon charge), exchange, laundry service (upon charge), large
parking area, 130m long private beach with hotel’s umbrellas and sun
beds, evening show area. Air conditioning and heating throughout the
public areas, rooms and apartments (air condition is working 24 hrs
from 15/6-30/9). The Doreta has spacious and luxurious lobby areas, 3
elevators, taxi station in front of the hotel. Vending machine for
refreshments available during the night. WC in common areas for people
with special needs.
Meals (buffet style)
Breakfast, lunch & dinner served buffet style at
the Symposium restaurant, where you can enjoy Greek and International
cuisine. Children's buffet available (lunch and dinner), high chairs
available. Vegetarian and special dietary requirements available on
request with advance notice. Taverna offers food buffet style with
various fresh salads, main dishes and fruit.
Accommodation
Air-conditioning in all rooms at the Doreta
Beach Hotel (from 15/6 until 30/9), private bath, radio, fridge on
request (payable locally), direct dial phone, late check out available
(payable locally), hairdryer, balcony / terrace, smoke detector in all
rooms. There is limited wheelchair accessibility. Bed type
availability in rooms: 1 single & 1 double bed, 1 double bed & 2
twins, 1 double bed & 3 twins. Room views available: direct sea view,
mountain view, side sea view.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The All Inclusive programme operates from
07:00-23:00. The hotel guests can choose between Main Restaurant
Symposium and Restaurant Tavern. The Doreta Beach Hotel has a full
board consisting of a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served in the rich
buffet style at the Main Restaurant (dress code applies during the
evening meal: gentlemen must wear long trousers in the main restaurant
for dinner only). Delicious Snacks are served at the Tavern Snack Bar
from 10:00-23:00 (buffet style with various fresh salads, snacks, main
dishes and fruits). Unlimited Ice Cream is available between
10:00-17:00 at the Taverna restaurant. Various AI Drinks are served at
Main Bar (17:00-23:00), Pool Bar (10:00-23:00) and at the Snack Bar
(10:00-23:00) serving locally produced alcoholic drinks including,
wine, whiskey, vodka, brandy, rum, gin, ouzo, various liqueurs,
various juices, mineral water, tea and filter coffee. Cocktail list is
available in all bars as well as branded soft drinks and imported
draught beer (branded International alcoholic drinks are available at
a local charge).
All Inclusive Sport & Entertainment
Tennis; Volleyball; Basketball; Mini-golf; Table
tennis; Mountain bikes; Mini soccer. Selected water sports are also
available such as pedaloes & canoes (according to the weather and
availability). Various daytime and evening entertainment programmes
are organised by the professional animation team such as Bingo,
Quizzes, Pool races, water gymnastics and many more…
Children Facilities
Kids Club is available free of charge 6 days a
week for small AI guests between 3-8 years old. Daily kid’s Mini disco
is open for all children up to 12 yrs old. For the period between
10/04 - 25/04 additional entertainment such as sculpture on balloons,
magic shows and children’s face painting.
Complimentary Specials
Includes a welcome drink at welcome meeting,
bottle of mineral water for arrivals after midnight. Birthday cake for
children under 12 yrs old.
